Goji Recipes

Cook with Goji!

goji-plantGoji is a berry, so in theory, you can use it in cooking and recipes, like you would do any other berry. Think along the lines of goji jam, chutney, pickle, cakes, buns, pastries, pies, soups, salads and even christmas puddings. Gojis are easy to cook with and hassle free and the nutritional benefit is extremely high, see our health benefits page for more info.

You can even make your own goji juice by soaking the dried berry in water and adding other berries and fruit to taste! We also love goji berry tea which again is so easy to make and a great way to combine staying hydrated with intaking this tasty little superfood!

The best way to cook with goji berries is to follow your favourite recipe and add a handful of the happy berries. You will quickly work out how many berries you need for your own personal taste. We like to mix our gojis with complementary fruits such as apple, blueberry, and rhubarb for pies and crumbles, but if you are in the festive mood, try some rum or brandy soaked goji berries on ice cream – delicious!

Dried Goji berries can be made juicy and succulent by hydrating them again as you would with raisins or sultanas by soaking them in orange juice or apple juice.

In the coming months we will be sharing our recipes and ideas – so come back soon! Have a recipe yourself? Submit your goji recipe online.
