More recently though, modern science enables us to extract the nutrients of berries such as goji and acai to create a powder supplement that can be sprinkled in juice, smoothies, over cereal and into savoury dishes and salad dressings. We like to stir a teaspoon of the powder into our daily flask of herbal tea and reap the benefits all day, no post lunch slump at work and lots of happy energy! To maintain all of the nutrients and goodness that is found in the fresh Goji berry, low temperature extraction methods are employed. This means the nutrional power of goji powders can actually be even more concentrated, with 1 gram of powder containing the goodness of up to 5 grams of Goji Berries!

Like any fruit, Fresh Goji Berries can be hard to preserve. As such dried Goji berries are more likely to be found in the shops and are just as nutrient rich as their fresh counterparts.
