Tea Made from Goji Berries

goji-plantGoji berry tea is a nice way to enjoy the health benefits of goji throughout the day. We all know that staying hydrated is important so why not brew a big flask of goji berry tea and sip on that at your desk or at home as you go about your chores.

Not only is goji tea a delicious alternative to water but is also rich in antioxidants and immune boosting goodness as well as being an energy booster – no more post lunch slump! Of course, this little berry is called the ‘happy berry’ for a reason and it is likely that drinking a few cups a day will lift your spirits and help the day feel a little brighter.

You can brew your own goji berry tea or buy a pre made blend. Brewing your own tea is really simple, here’s how:

  1. Boil your water and add a small handful of goji berries to a cup, flask or tea pot.
  2. Add your favourite herbal tea blend if you like, either in tea bag form or loose leaf. If you are using loose leaf, add your goji berries to this mix.
  3. Add your hot water once your kettle has boiled
  4. Allow to steep for 10 minutes
  5. Strain to remove berries and tea leaves if applicable, add natural honey to taste and voila, a delicious and extremely healthy tea!
